At the 2019 boat show we purchased a 20’ Yamaha G3 Pontoon with a 90 HP Yamaha motor from our local G3 Dealer. After multiple service-related issues, I came to realize that I made a mistake buying my boat from them. In the spring of 2023 just before they delivered my boat from winter storage, they advised me it required preventative maintenance to replace my impeller / water pump housing. I had them do the service. When they finally delivered my boat and pushed me off from the launch and I started it, I immediately realized there was a problem. There was a noticeable exhaust noise along with water gushing from under the cowling at the top of the driveshaft. When I called the dealer, they insisted it was nothing they did and was not related in any way to the service they had performed. Funny it never did this when they took my boat out in the fall. He also said they were too busy to deal with it at that time because of how busy they were over the next few weeks. This led me to look elsewhere for help. I stopped in at Walsten Marine in Kinmount and met Stuart, Pam and Jennifer. I explained my situation to Stuart in detail and he took me out to introduce me to other members of their service team to explain my issue. They said they would be happy to try and resolve the issue even though I did not purchase my boat and motor from them. Stuart said the fact I was a Yamaha customer he wanted to help me. Their professionalism and commitment to provide excellent customer service just blew me away. This is so hard to find these days but with this third-generation family business it is clear they want your business and are committed to earn it by creating a long-term relationship with every customer they have. Anyway, I delivered my boat to Stuart and after extensive searching for what was causing the problem, they found an inexpensive water tube gromet missing that was in the exhaust at the bottom of the motor. They removed it and reinstalled it, tested the motor and the problem is solved. This issue was totally related to the service performed that my previous Marina had performed. Stuart, Jennifer, Pam and their team at Walsten Marine have earned all our future business, and we look forward to dealing with them in the years to come. I highly recommend to anyone that they talk with the professionals at Walsten Marine for all their sales and service boating needs,

Dear Pam, Jen, Stuart and Bill, I wanted to send a note expressing our heartfelt thanks to you for your excellent sales and service regarding our recent purchase of a Bennington pontoon boat. As existing customers, it was an obvious choice to deal with you since we have always enjoyed excellent service, but it was still comforting not to be taken for granted and you proved yourselves, once again, to be the "best of the best". The whole experience, from dealing with Pam at the boat show to purchase the new boat and trade in our old one, to modifying our order with Jen and arranging for delivery was easy and seamless. Then, to top it off, Bill delivered the boat (on short notice, due to changes in schedule as a result of the recent flooding, and, at the end of a very long day for him) and gave John the "pontoon primer" ensuring that we knew what we were doing when we got on the water and how to take care of our new toy.
